For example, when the maximal 50 concurrent calls are reached, the CPU Utilization is under 30%. The remaining 70% is allocated for real-time voice service, advanced services and system management. The SP5350PRO is designed with specific-purpose embedded system hardware which leads much lower power consumption (under 40 watts) than PC/Server-based IP PBX with about 300 watts. Further, the SP5350PRO is developed with deliberately-designed software kernel, so that the system is able to handle all the incoming requests and provides high reliability all the time when various functions are working in single equipment. Considerate Design for User Interface and Automated Provision Minimizes the Installation, Maintenance and Management Tasks For the IP-Phone initial setting, to ease the system implementation in initial installation and/or operational maintenance, the SP5350PRO system provides three ways in doing that, the massive extension-adding, step-by-step configuration wizard, and auto provisioning features. Administrator can quickly create many extensions with similar attributes and finish the system settings without loss of procedures by following the system instructions. The auto provisioning function supports IP Phone in local LAN to be easily deployed and maintained; IP Phone can be set up automatically with either pre-defined configuration after booting up or merely on-site keypad entry of the extension number. In addition, once new configuration and firmware are needed for the system, the SP5350PRO is able to provide massive upgrade for all the phones in local LAN, instead of the tedious one-by-one re-configuration.
