Conference
Communications in Optical Systems.

ORGA - TRADE a.s. in cooperation with Slovak Technical University in Bratislava (Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies and Centre of Informatics) are organizing a technical conference - Communication in Optical Systems - CiOS 2004. The conference will be held on 3. February 2004.
The main objective of the conference will be to introduce the Slovak professional IT community to innovative technologies designed for multimedia transmission through optical infrastructure. Participants in the conference will have a chance to share their experiences, their knowledge and application in given area.
The other intension of the conference’s organisers is, in the first block of presentations to enable leading telecommunication system providers and academic participants to present technological progression of optical transmission systems, principles and solutions of those technologies based on the latest knowledge in the field.
The commercial section of the conference will focuse on presentation of products and solutions available for the further development of optical transmission systems in the present and the near future. Finally, this section should also allow providers of existing solutions to share their information and references related with data transmission through optical systems.

Ing. Ján Jasek
