As an innovative and independent producesr in the cabling industry, the German company Kerpen Special develops, manufactures, and supplies cables in accordance with European and world standards. With its Megaline product range, the company belongs to one of the market leaders in the field of cables and systems for IT in Europe. Other than Megaline brand copper data cables (shielded cables 5/5e, 6, 7, 8), it is the copper system technology Eline that completes the product portfolio of Kerpen Special in the IT field. Since January 2000, the company has also produced GigaLine optical fibre cables of the highest possible standards at its factory in Stolberg. Data cables and systems from Kerpen Special are used mainly for Metropolitan and Local Area Networks.

All cables meet and often surpass the parameters demanded by standards ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173. Both cables with PVC jackets and those in non-halogenous forms are produced in compliance with IEC 60754-2. Cables are non-inflammable (IEC 60332-3 Cat.C) with low smoke consistency (IEC 61034).

The Kerpen cables are internationally renound in the gauging and engineering fields. The company also develops and produces power cables, telecommunication cables, and special cables for mining, industry, and utility companies.
