ISO 9001:2000
The Slovak IT market is in its infancy compared
with other markets in western Europe. This is caused, on one
hand by a relatively mature and highly educated user base,
and on the other by the fact the former eastern block countries
have undergone certain rapid development phases. It is only
natural the main criterion for selecting an IT supplier is
quality. Quality of the services provided by ORGA - TRADE Inc.
is guaranteed by the implementation of quality management
in accordance with ISO 9001:1994, verified by the certification
authority, Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, in August 1999.
The quality management system is implemented in all methods
and processes for the areas:
. design, installation and servicing of computer networks
and communication systems;
. procurement and distribution of the respective components.
LRQA verifies the quality of service every
six months. On 23 October 2002, three years after certification,
the company was re-certified by LRQA (Lloyd's Register Quality
Assurance) in accordance with ISO 9001:2000. Hence, ORGA - TRADE
Inc. became the first Slovak IT company to reach, and maintain,
such a quality of service rating. As a result, the company
recorded an increasing number of customers, mostly of foreign
origin whose management naturally give priority to suppliers
with a verified system of quality management. "It is
only the state sector which resists quality", Mr. Menyhart,
CEO of ORGA - TRADE, says with a smile, "because the public
procurement law directs for tenderees, prior to certificate
of quality, submitting tens of more important documents.
